Single Family or Duplex Residential Services
Single-family or duplex residential service customers may suspend solid waste service. Solid waste services may be suspended for a period of not less than three consecutive months if:
- The property is not occupied during any portion of the period that service is suspended.
- The property owner has provided written notice to the Town's collection contractor using a temporary suspension of solid waste form.
- The suspension form is filed with the Town's collection contractor no less than 31 days prior to the start of the requested period of suspension.
- The property owner provides no less than 15 days notice to the Town's collection contractor of the date to resume service. The property owner will be credited for the time period service is suspended.
