In order for a permit to be issued for any kind of licensed construction or alteration work within the Town of Lauderdale By-The-Sea, every Contractor and Sub-contractor must have a copy of their registration credentials on record with the Building Division.
The following items must be submitted along with a Contractor Registration Form.
- State Registration and Broward County Certificate of Competency (if applicable).
- Liability and Worker’s Comp Insurance listing The Town of Lauderdale By-The-Sea as the certificate holder (Town of Lauderdale By-The-Sea, 4501 N. Ocean Drive, Lauderdale By-The-Sea, FL 33308).
- Worker’s Comp Exemption (if applicable).
- County Business Tax Receipt.
The completed form and required registration documentation can be submitted in-person or emailed to: building@lbts-fl.gov. The recipients will be davidl@lauderdalebythesea-fl.gov and yanid@lauderdalebythesea-fl.gov.
