From July 19 to July 24, 2025, you will see trees in Town wrapped in pink and green ribbons. In Kerr County, Texas, pink and green ribbons have been placed on the trees in honor of the Camp Mystic campers and staff who are still missing following the devastating flooding. Our business community will be placing these same colors on trees in Lauderdale-By-The-Sea, symbolizing our unity with Kerr County and our support for the victims of this tragedy. Our hearts and thoughts are also with all those affected by the flooding in New Mexico.
Everyone in our community is invited to come together at a Relief and Recovery Event hosted by our LBTS businesses on July 23, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Mickey’s Downtown Bistro (4331 N. Ocean Drive). There will be a happy hour, raffles, auction items, and donation opportunities to raise money for relief efforts.
For more information, or to get involved, please contact Annie Berry at The Wild Berry Salon at annie@thewildberrysalon.com.
Together, let’s show that our small town has a big heart.
