Our Municipal Services Director is Ken Rubach, who began his municipal government career in Illinois and has more than a decade of experience in Public Works. Ken was an Administrative Analyst (Oak Forest, IL), and Assistant to the Public Works Director and Public Works Supervisor (Village of Bensenville, IL).
Just prior to coming to the Town in December 2018, Ken was the Assistant Director of Public Works for the City of Wood Dale, IL. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in Political Science from Illinois State University.
Municipal Services is comprised of the Public Works and Community Standards Divisions, which are responsible for:
- Stormwater drainage and irrigation systems
- Sewer and water lines
- Sidewalks and parks
- Grounds Maintenance
- Facility Maintenance
- Wastewater transmission infrastructure
In addition to ensuring Town vehicles operate safely, Municipal Services is also responsible for monitoring construction and all Capital Improvement projects.
